Community Education
We offer periodic in-service sessions. Topics addressed include:
- Signs and symptoms of child sexual and physical abuse
- How to respond when a child discloses abuse
- Mandated reporting requirements
- Suggestions for talking with children
- Safety issues
Audiences for our presentations include primary care providers, emergency department staff, judges, investigators and defense attorneys.
All educational sessions can be tailored to meet a group's specific needs with respect to the program's content and duration.
