Volunteer Opportunities
Our Kids currently needs volunteers in the capacities listed below. All volunteers receive Our Kids orientation and general training on child sexual abuse. Volunteers also receive additional training specific to their assignments.
Clinic Volunteer:
Assist with child care in waiting rooms and give out educational materials and items donated to the Center for clients. Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Administrative Volunteer:
Provide assistance to resource coordinator on various clerical, computer, marketing, public relations and educational assignments. Hours vary.
Research Assistant:
Work with professional staff on child sexual abuse research; identify and/or develop educational and training materials. Hours vary.
Building and Grounds Volunteer:
Work with staff to maintain building and grounds. Hours vary.
Event Volunteer:
Become involved in Our Kids special events! Learn about upcoming special events.
Event Manager:
Take a leadership role in planning and implementing special events.
Committee Member:
Participate with other committee members to plan the events.
Day-of-Event Volunteer:
Various vital roles that make our event successful.
